What is 24hourdocs?
We are a company that provides medical care by video/audio over a secure HIPAA compliant network. We are able to provide care within the specialties of general medical care as well as specialty care within the fields of digestive health/gastroenterology and behavioral health. Our healthcare team consists of Board Certified U.S. Licensed Physicians and therapists.
We understand the need for medical care that exists beyond business hours and amidst the challenges of everyday hustle and bustle. Many of our patients have expressed the fear of waiting long hours in an urgent care around sick patients. As a result, we have created a way for our patients to have access to online medical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The best part...you can access care in the comfort of your home or anywhere that is convenient for you!
How much does it cost to see a doctor?
If you do not have insurance, no worries. Simply pay our everyday low one-time cost.
General medical and Urgent Care visits are $59.99
Digestive Health/Gastroenterology Specialist visits are $99
Mental Health Therapy visits are $99 per 45-minute sessions
If your visit is covered under your insurance, you will only have to pay your copay. If your visit is not covered by your insurance, then you will just pay the one-time low-cost fee as described above.
How do you become a member?
Our membership is free after you have had your first online visit with us.
Once a member, you are eligible for discounts on future visits.
You will be updated with important and current information on a variety of health issues and viral infections that are affecting our country. At this time we provide updates on our current COVID-19 pandemic.
Will I see a doctor for my visit?
Yes, you will see a board-certified U.S. licensed physician for your general medical, gastroenterological or psychiatric online visits.
You will see a licensed therapist for your visit that is scheduled with a therapist.
If I have a child that needs to see the doctor, do I have to create a separate account?
No, as long as the child is under 18 you just need to log in, add the family member’s name, input their medical history, and then ask to be seen now or schedule for later, just as you would do for yourself. Please note that we do not offer care to children under the age of three.
Do you provide care for children as well?
Yes, we provide care for children ages 3-17.
How long will it take for the doctor to start my video visit?
Most of the time you will be connected with the doctor within a couple of minutes.
If you are not in the waiting room when the provider arrives, they will wait a few minutes before helping the next patient. Don’t worry, we will attempt to connect you with the next available provider prior to canceling your visit.
What conditions does 24HOURDOCS treat?
We treat a wide variety of conditions. Common conditions include cold, flu, rash, allergies, urinary tract infections and many more non-emergency conditions. We have board certified gastroenterologists that treat a wide range of digestive health conditions such as constipation, heartburn, acid reflux, bloating and so much more. Do you treat emergency conditions?
NO. WE DO NOT TREAT ANY EMERGENCY CONDITIONS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY FOR YOUR EMERGENCY CONDITION!
Can I get a prescription as part of my visit?
During your visit, if your doctor decides a prescription medication is needed or appropriate for your condition, the doctor will send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. Please note that we do not prescribe narcotics, controlled substances or other medications that may be restricted for safety reasons.
